Aqua Park, Rutland Water.

With the summer holidays on the horizon there's families who are looking for things to do so that the children are kept amused over the weeks off school as well as friends and couples looking for an activity at the weekend. The Aqua Park at Rutland Water is something you must put on your list of things to do this summer! I was recently invited to give it a test drive along with my partner Jordan, I took unwell within 30 minutes of entering the water so wasn't able to give everything a go but it's something I am willing to go back to during the summer!

The Aqua Park at Rutland is the UK's biggest aquaglide aqua park set amongst the picturesque surrounding of Rutland Water. There's tons of other activities you can take advantage of whilst your there too if you fancy making a day of it and some great views to sit and enjoy a picnic if the weather is good too. The park is back after it's success last year and is bigger than ever, measuring over 100m by 80m, containing climbing walls, trampolines, balance bars, rockers, rollers and has grown since last year. It even has one tower that measures 6m tall.

On it's success last year people are already snapping up tickets to enjoy the Aqua Park which will close in September and with tickets costing £20 per person and include the hire of a wetsuit, making it quite expensive but a possible affordable activity for the entire family to enjoy. Even local big star rugby teams like the Leicester Tigers enjoy giving the Aqua Park a go!

Despite not being able to fully embrace and enjoy the activity, Jordan thoroughly enjoyed it and has said he'd definitely book to revisit sometime in the summer. The staff were really accommodating and were very quick to deal with any issues that occurred in the park, most of which was people getting stuck in one area and one poor guy having to pull them out by their float!
