Rigsby Wold Holiday Cottages; Dog-Friendly Accommodation in Lincolnshire.

[AD: Complimentary Stay]

Rigsby Wold Holiday Cottages are a collection of three self-catering within the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. The cottages sleep between 4-6 individuals, as well as two which cater as dog-friendly places with secure gardens available adjacent to the properties. The Rigsby Wold Holiday Cottages are situated 2 miles from Alford - a small town renowned for its arts and crafts and the striking five-sailed windmill. The location of these holiday cottages is also ideal for walkers and cyclists with multiple footpaths and cycle routes in and around the area on their doorstep. These are well signposted around the cottage so they're easy to pick up.

On our stay we explored Louth and Horncastle as they were within a 10-20 minute driving distant and made for good day trips - although we would have happily spent all of our weekend break bunkered down in the cottage, to be honest.

If you are like me and love being beside the seaside and blowing the cobwebs with some sea air (there's absolutely nothing like it!) then the award winning, golden-sanded beaches of Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea aren't so far away, therefore don't forget your bucket and spade!

The newest addition to Rigsby Wold Holiday Cottages is The Stables conversion, completed in 2019. It's the largest accommodation available; it sleeps up to 6 people and can welcome up to two well-behaved dogs for a stay here. The Stables is a single story large airy barn conversion, finished off with incredible amenities you need for a perfect holiday break. The Stables also comes with an access ramp to the cottage. The Stables is an open plan design with the kitchen/dining and living room making for a large percentage of the space with a log burner taking centre stage. There's a well-equipped utility room adjacent to the front door and 3 bedrooms for you and your guests to get a good night's sleep in.

There are two bathrooms within this cottage; one family bathroom with independent shower over showerbath and a master bedroom with ensuite. The other bedrooms are twin bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are comfortable, colourful and airy. I enjoyed staying in my bedroom for the weekend a lot, I got a considerable amount of sleep and felt homely throughout.

The Stables is a fantastic option for dog-friendly holidays in Lincolnshire with not just secure gardens, lots of walks on the doorstep but the cottage is equipped for their needs. The floor is created to stop them from slipping and our dog Millie absolutely loved exploring every inch of the accommodation when we arrived. Millie loved curling up in front of the log burner in the evenings whilst we had fun playing some of the games available in our cottage whilst a storm was brewing outside.

The interior and overall finish of The Stables is incredible, it really is a dreamy little abode to escape from the everyday grind for a break with your friends and family. I would absolutely love to visit this place again, it gave myself an opportunity to enjoy quality time with my family.
