Full Cast announced for Treasure Island: A New Musical Adventure at Bristol Old Vic

Bristol Old Vic’s swashbuckling Christmas production, newly adapted from Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, will play this festive season from 4 December 2025 to 10 January 2026. This production of Treasure Island: A New Musical Adventure will be brought to life by The Great British Bake Off Musical and The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole The Musical creators Jake Brunger and Pippa Cleary, and directed by Paul Foster (White Christmas, Sheffield Crucible).

Jayde Adams, the Bristol comedian, actor, and presenter, will play the roles of Benita Gunn/Jim Hawkins’ mother/Landlady and Parrot (puppet). She will be joined by a company of multi-instrumentalist actors, including Adryne Caulder-James (PAN!, Theatre Peckham) as Jim Hawkins, Colin Leggo (Jack and the Beanstalk, Cornwall Playhouse) as Long John Silver, Morgan Val Baker (Gatsby, Leicester Square Theatre) as Suire Trelawney/Black Dog), Lloyd Gorman (Clueless The Musical, Churchill Theatre Bromley) as Captain Smollett/Jim’s Father, Jack Heydon (A Matter Of Life and Death, New Vic Theatre) as O’Brien/Billy Bones, Philippa Hogg (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Ambassador’s Theatre) as Hands, and Sioned Saunders (The Lord of the Rings, Watermill Theatre) as Dr Livesey.

From a Bristol tavern to the mighty oceans, join thrill-seeking teen Jim Hawkins as she charts a course to excitement and mystery aboard the mighty Hispaniola. This UK premiere is a daring adventure that will have everyone on the edge of their seats – landlubbers and salty seadogs alike!
