The Black Print Concert at the Phoenix Arts Club announced
Olivier-nominated actor Emmanuel Akwafo and rising star Marcus Collick have announced The Black Print, a bold showcase of Black creative brilliance. It isn’t just a concert, it’s a call to action, a celebration, and a movement. The Black Print Concert is where Black excellence in theatre and music takes centre stage, unapologetically and powerfully. You can expect powerhouse vocals, magnetic performances, and a soul-stirring reminder of the talent that too often goes unseen.
Despite a wealth of talent, Black creatives face systemic barriers in theatre and music. The Black Print is here to change that. By attending, you're not just watching a concert, you’re investing in equity, empowerment, and lasting change in the performing arts industry. Described as “A Fearless Declaration of Black Artistry Taking Up Space”, The Black Print will star a stellar lineup of seasoned West End performers and freshly emerging talent (to be announced soon). This one-of-a-kind event will amplify the richness, diversity, and beauty of Black artistry in all its forms.
All proceeds will go toward funding scholarships, mentorships, and career development programmes for the next generation of Black artists.
It’s taking place at the Phoenix Arts Club on 3rd August 2025 at 1.30pm.
Tickets are limited and on sale now, you can buy them here and be part of the revolution.
