Hart's Hotel & Restaurant, Nottingham

If it's a comfortable, quiet and high quality hotel stay in Nottingham your looking for then believe me when I say that the Hart's Hotel and Restaurant is one of the best hotel discoveries I have made. The contemporary hotel is a privately owned luxury boutique hotel with its own garden overlooking a gorgeous panoramic views of Nottingham, as well as a car park. It's accommodation ranges from the classic to even having suites available for its customers, therefore there's an opportunity to really make the most of your hotel visit with Hart's.

The hotel is situated near to the Nottingham Castle and can be quite difficult to find by foot. I definitely had to do some wondering around before finding it nestled within some apartments. However it seems to be easier to locate by car and there's a car park available. If you are arriving by foot it's in great walking distance of the Nottingham City Centre, hosting great shopping and restaurants. The hotel's restaurant isn't actually located within the hotel building but is across the way from the entrance in a separate building, literally minutes away.  The hotel is very spacious, light and has large glass windows which really allows the natural light to brighten up the space.

Our room, a superior room was situated on the first floor of the building. The room itself had enough room for you to move around from bed to the bathroom but felt smaller than I would have thought it to be. The room came with a desk; with enough space for you to tie up any lose ends for work that you may need, a bathroom with a bath and shower as well as a mini bar available should you want to have a snack or a drink. There's also the addition of great onsite WiFi, perfect for people like me who want easy access to the internet whilst enjoying the comfort of the hotel. I did think the furnishing design within our room was a little bit dated but felt this fitted in well with the hotel's foundations and history. There is a small bar area downstairs available to the guests, perfect for those nights when you'd like to unwind with a glass of wine.

The restaurant on site is fabulous, we only made use of it in the morning for breakfast but the space and menu is next to none. The service was great from the moment we arrived for our breakfast in the morning. The restaurant offers 88 seats at full capacity, which was known for it's title of Nottingham's most successful up-market eatery. The restaurant not only serves breakfast, lunch and dinner but also a an afternoon tea option, may be worth checking out for the next girl day out. There's an opportunity to sample the thoroughly professional blend of skilled service and modern British cooking in a stylish and comfortable interior. It's definitely worth making the most of during your stay at the Hart's Hotel, particularly for the breakfast. I loved sampling the local meats within my breakfast, particularly the bacon and sausages which are provided to the restaurant by Dickinson and Morris in Melton Mowbray.

The hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing experience for me and would definitely be a hotel to unwind after a long week at work or to celebrate an oncoming celebration.

Complimentary Hotel stay and breakfast included. All photos and views are my own.
