The Brand New Infinity Pool at Ragdale Hall Hotel & Spa, Leicester.

I visited Ragdale Hall & Spa for the third time this year and there's a new addition that is making Ragdale Hall stand above the rest. The addition of the Rooftop Infinity Pool has been highly anticipated and completes the extensive facilities that the Spa has to offer its customers. If you are like me and enjoy unwinding in the evenings, then Leicestershire's Ragdale Hall and Spa is the place you want to visit.

Undertaking once again the *Evening Spa Experience I was able to treat my mum to some well needed R&R time on a Sunday evening. When January feels as though it has overstayed its welcome heading off for a couple of hours to a local spa is a luxury well worth heading out for. Probably more so when a place like Ragdale Hall is only a 15-20 minute drive from my house. Since 2016 the Evening Spa Experience is the perfect opportunity for you to relax after a long day/week. You can take advantage of the vast variety of facilities on offer as well as enjoying a delicious 2-course dinner afterwards in their Verandah Bar. All of this at an affordable price. But today I'm here to tell you specifically about the new pool. It's the sixth pool at the spa, offering the guests the benefits of the open air as well as a comforting rooftop pool experience. It's infinity style also allows you to take in the breath-taking views on offer of the grounds and the Leicestershire countryside that is on the Spa's doorstep.

The pool is part of the Ragdale Hall's sensitive development of the original 1785 Hall, they have used external materials in order to reflect the sky as well as envelop the new structure. Along with the Rooftop Infinity Pool is the added additions to the top floor Lounge, a great place to take a minute to enjoy your surroundings. Downstairs is a redesigned Exercise Pool area that features bespoke LED mood lighting and is great for those keen to also workout during their visit.

The new Rooftop Infinity Pool is 12m x 3.5m and features underwater massage jet seating, coloured underwater lightings, an infinity edge and is heated to 35 degrees. Whilst me and my mum thoroughly enjoyed taking a flavour for all of the other areas available in their Thermal Spa, we couldn't wait to get back into the new pool and it's the perfect addition to Ragdale Hall Spa. I think we spent the majority of our evening lounging on the underwater massage and looking up towards the night sky.

Once again the 2-course dinner in the Verandah Bar was delicious, well portioned and had the comforting flavours needed in Winter. I tried their Pulled Pork dish this time and it was so tender and yummy.

We're definitely going to be treating our family to a visit to Ragdale Hall in the near future, the Spa once again emphasised the importance of taking care of ourselves. The Evening Spa Experience is an affordable and something we all need to make time for in our diary. For £60-70 (dependent on day of the week you attend) you can have full use of the spa facilities, a two-course meal and enjoy 3 hours of absolute bliss in gorgeous surroundings.

Ragdale Hall and Spa are constantly adding great offers to their website here.

*Complimentary visit to the Spa in return for this honest review about their new Infinity Pool. All views are my own.
