FREE Careers Fair Creates Arts Opportunities for Warwickshire Students

Are you interested in a career in the arts but not too sure where to start and what support is available for you to pursue your dreams?

Thanks to a major careers event being held in Nuneaton this month, young people will be able to obtain free career advice. The arts careers fair is being held at Ropewalk Shopping Centre and is completely free to attend.

Organised by Shout Out for the Arts Warwickshire who are a group of young people and organisations who aim to give children and young people in the area a voice to ‘shout’ for access to arts and culture. They want us to listen to young people when it comes to accessing arts, culture and heritage.

Anyone aged 15-25 can attend an array of activities including talking with careers advisors and learn more about what work opportunities are available in the arts. You can also participate in hands-on workshops to develop their skills, all with an exciting line-up of industry professionals.

Industry professionals heading to the free event including Art Reach, Motionhouse, Royal Shakespeare Company and also the SAE Institute, who have just opened a major creative facility in Warwickshire. The full line-up is available on the website.

The Arts Careers Fair takes place on 20th February at the W Building (King Edward VI College’s new building), in Ropewalk Shopping Centre. Students must reserve their FREE place online in advance: shoutoutforthearts.co.uk/careersfairs
