Theatre shows coming to UK cinemas in 2024

Did you know you can also check out some theatre shows on the big screen in your local cinemas? With the pandemic 4 years ago, we all jumped at the opportunity to watch streamed performances or downloaded Broadway HD in a bid to get our theatre fix. This also provided an entirely new perspective on how we access theatre. However, it is 2024 and the continuation of streamed performances seems to have fizzled out quite abruptly, sadly. What is quite brilliant is that we have plenty of great West End shows, plays and movie adaptations coming to UK cinemas in 2024 and we’ve got a quick guide on the ones you need to watch out for!

Heading to the big screen to bash away those January blues is a new film adaptation of the stage musical, Mean Girls. However, having listened to the recent release of ‘World Burn’ by Reneé Rapp - I for one am really excited to check this one out for myself!
