Cast and Creative team announced for Little Shop of Horrors

Sheffield Theatres has announced the cast for Little Shop of Horrors, the killer rock musical begins performances on 7 December 2024.

Directed by Amy Hodge (Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World), the cast includes Sam Buttery (The Addams Family Concert, London Palladium) as The Plant (Audrey II); Lizzy Rose Esin Kelly (A Chorus Line, Curve Leicester) as Ronette; Paige Fenlon (Pretty Woman The Musical, UK Tour) as Chiffon; Charlotte Jaconelli (Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World, The Other Palace) as Crystal; Michael Matus (The Baker’s Wife, Menier Chocolate Factory) as Mr Mushnik; Georgina Onuorah (Kiss Me Kate, Barbican Theatre) as Audrey; Colin Ryan (My Brilliant Friend, Na2onal Theatre) as Seymour and Wilf Scolding (Cabaret, Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre) as Orin.

Completing the cast is Christopher Akrill as Ensemble and Understudy; Will Arundell as Ensemble and Understudy; Jamal Franklin as Ensemble and Understudy; Arethajay McEwen as Swing; Purvi Parmar as Ensemble and Understudy; Kate Playdon as Ensemble and Understudy; Jaz Terry as Ensemble and Understudy; and Riley Woodford as Swing.

Based on the film by Roger Corman and screenplay by Charles Griffith, Little Shop of Horrors is a dark comedy musical about a timid flower shop assistant, Seymour, who discovers a mysterious plant that brings him fame and fortune but feeds on human blood to thrive. As the plant’s appetite grows, Seymour faces moral dilemmas and disastrous consequences.

Blooming with musical theatre favourites like “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Suddenly Seymour” and “Somewhere That’s Green”, this is a must-see show over the festive period.
