Full cast announced for The Tempest at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The production is part of an exciting season of Shakespeare’s work heading to the West End, directed by Jamie Lloyd.

The full cast has been announced for The Tempest which runs at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane from 7 December 2024 until 1 February 2025.

Joining the previously announced Sigourney Weaver as Prospero is Jude Akuwudike (Kyoto, Royal Shakespeare Company) as Alonso, Jason Barnett (Hot Wing King, National Theatre as Stephano, Selina Cadell (A Monster Calls, The Old Vic & Bristol Old Vic) as Gonzalo, Mathew Horne (Gavin and Stacey, BBC) as Trinculo, Mara Huf (The Effect, National Theatre) as Miranda, Forbes Masson (Farm Hall, Theatre Royal Haymarket) as Caliban, Mason Alexander Park (Cabaret, Playhouse Theatre) as Ariel, James Phoon (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Palace Theatre) as Ferdinand, Oliver Ryan (Death Valley, BBC) as Sebastian and Tim Steed (Jack Absolute Flies Again, National Theatre) as Antonio.

 Following on from this production, Much Ado About Nothing will run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane with a season announced from 10 February until 5 April 2025. The production will star Tom Hiddleston as Benedick and Hayley Atwell as Beatrice. The on sale dates and full cast and creatives for that show will be announced soon.

The Jamie Lloyd Company also continues its commitment to accessibility, offering 25,000 tickets at £25 across the season exclusively for under 30s, key workers and those receiving government benefits.
