Steps musical ‘Here & Now’ announces UK & Ireland tour from Summer 2025

The new musical presented by one of the UK’s most successful pop bands, Steps, will embark on a major UK and Ireland tour from August 2025.

Currently premiering at The Alexandra, Birmingham until 30 November 2024, Here & Now was the theatre’s fastest selling on-sale in history.

Welcome to the seaside superstore Better Best Bargains, where it’s Friday night, the vibe is right, and everyone’s dancing in the aisles. But when Caz discovers the shelves are stocked with lies and betrayal, the summer of love she and her friends dreamed of suddenly feels like a tragedy. Have they all lost their chance of a happy ever afterhy6? Or does love have other plans in store…

Here & Now features Steps’ most beloved hit songs. It has an original book by Shaun Kitchener, is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh (The Great British Bake Off Musical), and has choreography by Olivier Award winner Matt Cole (Newsies).  The creative team also includes Musical supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Matt Spencer-Smith, set design by Tom Rogers, costume design is by Gabriella Slade (The Cher Show), lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Adam Fisher, wigs, hair and makeup design by Sam Cox, casting by Will Burton for Grindrod Burton Casting, Music Technology by Phij Adams with Production Management by Setting Line.

Casting for the UK and Ireland tour is to be announced.
