Creating The Best Burgers with The English Provender Co.

One of the things I most look forward to during the Summer is having BBQ's. We're fortunate to have a great garden space (it's essential for me when it comes to houses) and a BBQ at hand so as soon as the weather improves we like to get out in the garden and rustle up a few BBQ dishes to enjoy until the sun goes down. The weather is glorious this Bank Holiday Weekend (let's hope it just sticks around for a while) and so the perfect time to tell you about the one thing I've been adding to my burgers and not looking back ever since.

The English Provender Co was founded almost 40 years ago, drawing inspiration from the past to create timeless classics as well as more contemporary chutney and pickle recipes for you to enjoy. The products are great for pairing for your cheeseboard, your sandwich, or an enhancement to your cooking.

The company has 6 different chutney for you to choose from; with some really exciting variation of flavours that make for great dining.

We decided to use two of the chutneys as the alternative to tomato sauce on our burgers. We sampled the Sweet Tomato & Chilli Chutney as well as the Moroccan Spiced Chutney. They both came with tons of flavour, both incredibly rich and really easy to scoop out of the jars onto the burgers. We added them to our burgers which were topped with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes.

The Sweet Tomato and Chilli Chutney tasted far better with the burger than the Moroccan Spiced one. On their website they provide great advice for what you can put the chutneys with, including cheese boards so I reckon I will get use of them both by putting them with some cheese (because there's nothing like a cheeseboard!).

I thought the chutneys were great and I'll definitely be adding the Sweet Tomato and Chilli onto my burger at my next BBQ, no doubts!
