How to Kill Your Landlord, Theatre at Bedlam Theatre Review

Written by Kerry McLaughlin for Theatre & Tonic
A lot of people have issues with their landlords. Mould growth, taps leaking, but would you ever go as far as to murder them? How to Kill Your Landlord explores the what-if scenario, if killing your landlord was the only way to improve the lives of you and your flatmates.
The show, whilst knowing what to expect from the start, takes a little while to get itself up and running. But when it does. It does. Robbie Fletcher-Hill as Burke is a standout within the piece. Tittering between the thoughts of looming insanity, isolation and full-on excited morbidity.
How to Kill Your Landlord doesn’t bring anything exceptionally new to the table, but what it does bring works well. Think of it as yellow-sticker vegan bacon; it's not the best or most gourmet thing you’ve ever eaten, but when you have it, you enjoy it.
How to Kill Your Landlord plays at Bedlam Theatre until 25 August
