Full cast announced for Northern Stage and Derby Theatre’s co-production of Little Shop of Horrors

The full cast has been announced for Derby Theatre and Northern Stage’s co-production of Little of Shop of Horrors this Spring. This exciting revival of the cult classic will be presented as an actor-musician production, with full integrated captions in the show to ensure it’s accessible to all.
Joining Amena El-Kindy as Audrey and Kristian Cunningham as Seymour is Emmanuella Chede as Ronnette (Paw Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure Arena Tour, Shekinah Mcfarlane as Crystal (SIX the Musical, UK Tour) and Chioma Uma as Chiffon (101 Dalmatians the Musical, UK Tour).
Tasha Dowd (Cinderella, CAST and Storyhouse ) will provide the unforgettable voice of Audrey II, with Ross Lennon (Dinosaur World Live, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) working alongside her as the Puppeteer for Audrey II. David Rankine (The Great Gatsby, Derby Theatre) stars as the Dentist, Jon Bonner (Return to the Forbidden Planet) as Mr Mushnik,
Completing the cast will also be Wilf Stone and Hannah Woodward. Wilf and Hannah will be covering the roles of Seymour and Audrey as well as playing Ensemble.
Joining the stellar team of actor-musicians for this cult-classic musical will be Drummer, Amy Gray (Young Frankenstein).
Making its debut Off-Broadway in 1982, Alan Menken and Howard Ashman’s musical has been a huge favourite with theatre fans for over 40 years! Packed with unforgettable songs like “Skid Row (Downtown)”, “Suddenly Seymour”, “Somewhere That’s Green”, Little Shop of Horrors follows a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh.
Little Shop of Horrors will play at Northern Stage from Friday 8 until Saturday 23 May, before transferring to Derby Theatre from Saturday 30 May to Saturday 20 June.
