New UK Tour of ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ announced
A bold new adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray is set to embark on a UK tour in Autumn this year. Presented by Tilted Wig and directed by Seán Aydon (Frankenstein, The Spitfire Girls), the production will open at the Watford Palace Theatre on 1 October.
Stylish, provocative, and unsettlingly thrilling, The Picture of Dorian Gray plunges audiences into a world where charm is currency, morality is negotiable, and the truth always exacts its price.
As one of Oscar Wilde’s only novels that remain as razor-sharp and resonant as ever, this story offers a chilling portrait of vanity, corruption, and the cost of unchecked desire.
Casting for the tour will be announced at a later date.
The tour dates for The Picture of Dorian Gray are Shakespeare North Playhouse (7-10 October), Eastbourne Theatres (13-17 October), Theatre By The Lake (20-24 October), Theatr Clwyd (27-31 October), and Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford (3-7 November).
