Queer artist, Philippa Dawson (Pip), presents a show which puts ADHD in the spotlight in an informative and highly entertaining production with Character Flaw. Dawson radiates warmth from the moment she enters the stage and uses a series of props as well as a voiceover to amplify the impact that this wonderful show has in such a short space of time.

Pip uses her own journey to portray the frustrations surrounding obtaining a diagnosis, a stark reminder that the current waiting time for both autism and ADHD assessments is approximately 6-9 months. The balance she has with making this production funny but also to serve with a purpose is one of my favourite things about this overall.

Character Flaw is a highly entertaining show with a fantastic opportunity to be in a space where you can learn more about ADHD without being overwhelmed with TikTok videos.

I would urge you to invest your time in Character Flaw, it’s a show you could see again and again..

At Greenside @ Nicolson Square until 19 August then 21-26.
