Our Favourite Shows of 2022

Well, here we are again, at the end of another fantastic year of theatre.

Having written yearly roundups since 2016, it gets harder and harder to narrow them down to the top 10. In this year alone I’ve seen over 60 shows and we’ve reviewed many more as an expanding team here at Theatre&Tonic. I’m really excited to see what the new year will bring in terms of new productions to visit and become obsessed with, as well as grasping onto our firm favourites. With that in mind, let’s get to it. Here are my 10 shows of 2022 (and if you want to see the team’s favourites, they are at the bottom too!).

  1. My Neighbour Totoro, Barbican London

  2. The Choir of Man, Arts Theatre London
