By A Thread: One Fell Swoop Circus, Assembly Roxy (Central) Review

Written by Brian N Keachie for Theatre & Tonic

Gothic venue, old church, suitably atmospheric for the occasion to follow. A slightly larger venue possibly 600+

From the very beginning, By A Thread is obviously choreographed to an amazingly high standard!  Directed by Charice Rust and Jonathan Morgan, it’s a flawless production which at times is mind boggling!

The seven acrobats in the show delivered with artistic excellence with the music adding atmospheric ambience accordingly to the flow of By A Thread.

At 50-minutes long, perhaps the show was just a tad too long as several moves were becoming rather repetitive! However, take nothing away, this was tremendous live theatre at the high end!

They simply had you sitting on the edge of your seat by a thread!

By A Thread plays at the Assembly Roxy until 25 August
