Full Casting Announced for the World Premiere of The Silence of the Lambs

The upcoming UK and Ireland tour adaptation of The Silence of Lambs has announced its full cast, with the opening planned at the Curve Theatre on 1 August 2026.

Joining the previously announced John Partridge as Dr Hannibal Lecter are Mollie Gallagher (Coronation Street), who will make her professional theatre debut as Clarice Starling, Oliver Farnworth (Emmerdale) as Jack Crawford, alongside Sam Jackson (Skins) as Buffalo Bill. Also joining the ensemble are Minal Patel as Frederick Chilton; Jo Mousley as Senator Ruth Martin; Lottie Amor as Catherine Martin; Mark Peachey as Pilcher; Andrew Joshi as Peterson; Jonny Magnanti as Wertimer, with Mary Timbrell Hill completing the company, all taking on a variety of roles.

Adapted for the stage by the acclaimed television writer and playwright, Gina Gionfriddo (Law & Order, NBC), the psychological thriller follows a young FBI trainee, Clarice Starling, who seeks the help of imprisoned serial killer Hannibal Lecter to catch another murderer known as Buffalo Bill. As Clarice investigates the case, Lecter manipulates her while offering clues that bring her closer to the killer.

Directed by Nikolai Foster, The Silence of the Lambs creative team includes acclaimed theatre Designer Michael Taylor (Billy Elliot, Leicester Curve); Sound Designer Carolyn Downing (Life of Pi); Projection Designer George Reeve (Maybe Happy Ending); Tony nominated and Drama Desk Award-winning Composer Grant Olding (One Man, Two Guvnors) Tony and Olivier-nominated Lighting Designer Howard Hudson (Starlight Express, Troubadour Theatre) and Casting by Harry Blumenau CDG CSA. Julia Thomas is Associate Director.
