Jamie Lloyd’s Olivier Award-nominated production of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing will arrive on Broadway for a limited 10-week engagement beginning in October. The same cast and creative which delivered the original West End production at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane will reunite for this transfer.

The production, which will star the previously announced Tony Award nominee, Olivier Award nominee, and Golden Globe Award winner Tom Hiddleston as ‘Benedick’ and three-time Olivier Award nominee, Standard Theatre Award winner, and Golden Globe Award nominee Hayley Atwell as ‘Beatrice,’ will also feature Mara Huf as ‘Hero,’ Mika Onyx Johnson as ‘Borachio,’ Gerald Kyd as ‘Don Pedro,’ Forbes Masson as ‘Leonato,’ Phillip Olagoke as ‘Friar Francis,’ Mason Alexander Park as ‘Margaret,’ James Phoon as ‘Claudio,’ and Tim Steed as ‘Don John’.

The design team for Much Ado About Nothing includes Standard Theatre Award winner and Tony Award nominee Soutra Gilmour (scenic & costume design), two-time Tony Award winner Jon Clark (lighting design), multiple Olivier and Tony Award nominees Ben and Max Ringham (sound designers & composers), Olivier Award winner Fabian Aloise (choreographer), Jon Glew (UK associate director & text editor), Stuart Burt, CDG (UK casting director), Jim Carnahan, CSA & Alexandre Bleau, CSA (US casting directors), Carole Hancock  (hair, wigs & make-up), Kate Waters (fight director), Ingrid Mackinnon (intimacy coordinator) and Johnny Milani (production stage manager).

The comedy by Shakespeare encapsulates love, misunderstandings, and trickery in the town of Messina. Much Ado About Nothing follows two couples: Claudio and Hero, whose relationship is nearly ruined by false accusations, and Beatrice and Benedick, who constantly argue but slowly fall in love.

Much Ado About Nothing will play at the Winter Garden Theatre from 31 October to 10 January 2027. Additional information, including how to book your tickets can be found on www.muchadobroadway.com.
