Quentin Tarantino to stage new comedy ‘The Popinhay Cavalier’ in London’s West End
Sonia Friedman Productions and Sony Pictures Entertainment have today announced the development of a new swashbuckling comedy which will be written and directed by Quentin Tarantino.
Known for film classics over the years such as Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, this will be his debut in writing and directing a production for the stage.
A sweeping celebration of theatre and its heightened romance, told with Tarantino’s signature style and unmistakable wit, The Popinjay Cavalier is potentially heading to London’s West End in early 2027, in a theatre to be announced, following a period of development this year.
Casting, creative team, dates and all other details will be announced at a later date.
