Cast announced for Kilworth House Theatre’s production of Anything Goes
Emily Mae Walker, Richard Carson, Tom Hopcroft, Megan Gardiner and Dougie Carter.
Following on from the incredible success of ‘Hairspray’, 'Singin’ in the Rain' and '42nd Street' over previous years, Lee Proud will once again direct and choreograph this production in the unique and enchanting woodland setting of Kilworth House Theatre.
Anything Goes is a popular musical comedy by Cole Porter. Set aboard the SS American, a mix of eccentric characters get tangled in romantic misunderstandings and humorous schemes. The story celebrates chaos and spontaneity, showing how unconventional behaviour can sometimes lead to happy endings.
The musical features Porter’s classic songs including “I Get a Kick Out of You”, “You’re the Top”, “Friendship” and “Anything Goes”.
The cast includes Emily Mae Walker (Hamilton) as Reno Sweeney, Richard Carson (Titanique) as Billy Crocker, Megan Gardiner (Wicked, UK and Ireland Tour) as Hope Harcourt, Tom Hopcroft (Sister Act The Musical) as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Dougie Carter (The Phantom of the Opera) as Moonface Martin, Sophie Naglik (Back to the Future The Musical) as Erna, Thomas Sutcliffe (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as Elisha Whitney, and Penelope Woodman (Wicked)as Evangeline Harcourt.
Joining them are Lindsay Atherton, Lauren Dawes, Tia Gyngell, Helen Rose George, Alanna Panditaratne, Poppy Sharman, Ellie-Grace Cousins, Charlie Bishop, Robert Adam McNeilly, Toby Seddon, Charlie Robert Gary Miller, Thomas Walton, Gregor McCann and Aidan Stuart.
Produced by Celia Mackay, the creative team includes Musical Supervisor & Director Rick Coates, Set and Costume Designer Phillip Witcomb, Lighting Designer Jason Taylor, Sound Designer Chris Whybrow, Associate Director and Choreographer Emma Hunter and Casting Director Sarah Goggin.
Anything Goes will play Kilworth House Theatre, running from 23rd June to 2nd August 2026.
